The story of Ocean Flexible coatings is a simple one, Trudy and Emma founded OFC in 2021. With their extensive knowledge in the sailing industry they found UV protection for flexible coatings was very limited.Created and developed in New Zealand over 10 years ago Marine Shield products are a successful household name, solving the issues with UV and longevity even in the harshest climate.
Trudy and Emma recognised that here in the UK Marine Shield would help with mould and mildew and became the UK and European distributors of Marine Shield products.

Trudy Long, Director
30 years working within the Marine Industry and painting yacht Sails, Trudy is a bit geeky when it comes to paint. An artist in her own right, she is also the founder of Ocean Art Ltd.
Emma Smith, Director
Emma has a wealth of branding experience and has worked within the graphics industry for the last 19 years. She has helped companies of all sizes protect their assets and save money in the process. She has a passion for creating innovative solutions with a planet conscious mind.
Andrew Parkinson, Technical
Andrew is one of the leading experts in protective coatings. He has over 35 years of experience in the industry and has helped develop some of the most innovative coatings on the market.
